  • Impact Beloit groundbreaking – Library renovations have begun to include space for a new career center and community hub. Library resources are temporarily available in the Powerhouse’s Riverside Lounge.
  • Summer adventures abroad – Students explored Puerto Rico, Italy, Germany, and Puerto Rico through Global Experience Seminars.
  • Working in the city – Beloit College students Aaditya Joshi, Laraib Irfan, and Prince Upadhyay (pictured above) worked with Belmark Associates to gather data at the farmers market.

Roy Chapman Andrews

Long believed to be the inspiration for the fictional Indiana Jones, explorer and Beloit College 1906 graduate Roy Chapman Andrews lived beyond what a Hollywood script could capture. Now some of the adventurer’s most treasured artifacts, manuscripts, books, and photos started arriving at Beloit College’s Archives, and at the Beloit Historical Society, donated by Andrews’s granddaughter Sara Andrews Appelbee.
