New Look for Athletics

In mid-October, Beloit unveiled a major upgrade to its already acclaimed website in the form of newly redesigned athletics pages.

In addition to creating a more vibrant and updated design, the new look also reflects a different goal.

“The website will be more focused on recruiting student athletes,” says Todd Anderson, art director in the college’s Communications and Marketing Office. “Because of that, it will feature more movement, more color. It will help capture that sense of excitement about joining Beloit College athletics and convey the Beloit community.”

The project was completed in-house by the Communications and Marketing team, which includes Web Developer and Beloiter Nicholas Mischler’14, who created the new pages.

In addition to the new design, visitors to the site will find a video montage on the pages that is similar to the college’s home page.
